Before you drive up
- Weekends get busy. In May and June 2026, Dehradun Police ran weekend traffic plans for Mussoorie. When parking in town filled up, tourist cars were held at Kincraig and visitors continued by local taxi (ThePrint report).
- Mall Road has vehicle limits, especially in the evening. Your driver will drop you at the nearest point.
- Start early on weekends and holidays to avoid the worst of the traffic.
- Winter snow: after snowfall, Dhanaulti and the higher roads can be slippery or closed for a few hours. We will adjust the plan on the day.
